What data we collect

GateBy collects the minimum data needed to provide our service: your email address (if you sign up for the waitlist), flight information you enter, your departure location, and transport preferences. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to calculate your departure time and send you notifications. Flight data is fetched from third-party APIs and cached temporarily. Location data is used only for travel time calculations and is not stored permanently.

Third-party services

GateBy uses the following third-party services: AviationStack (flight data), Google Routes API (travel time calculations), Supabase (database and authentication), and Apple Push Notification Service (notifications). Each of these services has their own privacy policy.

Your rights (GDPR)

As a Belgian company, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@gateby.app to exercise these rights.
